As a service to our customers, the following are essential things to do while you’re waiting for us to arrive on the scene of the water damage:

• Locate the source of the leak and shut off the water supply, such as a valve under a sink or the main water line to your house. 
• Move any furniture, electronics, and other valuables away from the affected area to prevent further damage.
• Only attempt to remove large amounts of water from the affected area with proper equipment.
• Only move wet carpet or flooring with professional guidance. Use a wet/dry vacuum, towels, or blankets to remove as much water as possible to avoid further damage.
